Rize Exit :
We welcome you with our friendly staff waiting in front of the Rize Meydan Sheikh Mosque at 09:00. We act after the necessary checks are made in accordance with the pandemic rules. By following the Black Sea Coastal Road, gliding between Green and Blue, accompanied by a magnificent view; Çayeli (Mapavri), Pazar (Athens), Ardeşen (Ardışen), Fındıklı (Vice) of Rize; We are moving from the district centers of Arhavi (Arkabi), Hopa (Hupati) to Artvin and towards Artvin. Passing Through the Lifeguard Tunnel:
While following the Hopa-Borçka road, we will pass through the Lifeguard Tunnel, which makes it easier for us to cross the steep roads. The newly opened 5228-meter-long Lifeguard Tunnel connecting the Black Sea to Iran via Erzurum; It makes our journey a lot easier. When we arrive at the Borcka district center, we take a rest and need break at the Petrol Station by the Coruh River.

Arrival at Muratlı Dam Sunken Village:
After moving from Borçka City Center, we will arrive at Muratlı Dam Lake, Karşıköy Village, which is the first stop of our Karagöl Tour. The Mosque Minaret and Factory Chimney on the lake attract the attention of local and foreign guests. Our friends will give you information about the region during a 20-30 minute photo break at Muratlı Dam.

Now we leave Muratlı and start climbing by following the Borçka-Camil (Machael) road to reach Karagöl. Continuing through Chestnut, Hornbeam, Walnut and Spruce trees on some asphalt roads and some cobblestone roads, we reach Karagöl, one of the most untouched natural beauties of our country with its heavenly green fragrant forests, lush green texture, rich wildlife and plant diversity.

Arrival in Borcka Karagol:

Karagöl is within the borders of Borcka district of Artvin. It was formed in the early 1800s, when soil and rocks slipped from a hill near the Klaskur Plateau, closing the Ararat (Klaskur) Stream. Its depth decreased from 30 meters to 8-10 meters when alluviums flowing down the stream filled the lake. Karagöl is located at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level. Located on 50 thousand square meters of land, it has preserved its virginity as there is no construction around the lake. It has impressed the local and foreign tourists coming to the region.

Especially in autumn, the colors of the tree leaves create a riot of colors, creating a magnificent image. One of the most beautiful moments of the Karagöl Tour will be walking on the paths around the lake.

Çoruh Zipline-Borçka Dam
On the way back, we head towards Artvin from Borcka Town Center. Afterwards, we go to Borcka Dam Lake, which is Artvin's 3rd and Turkey's 65th biggest dam on the road. Borcka Dam meets the electricity of 273,542 Houses of Turkey. We stop by the Çoruh Zipline facility, which includes Turkey's longest track, for the Zipline activity, where you can fly across Borcka Dam, 8 km. from Artvin City Center. Here you will be able to do both Zipline and Motor Swing activities. Finally, around 17:00, we finish our Karagöl Tour here and move on to the way back. Our arrival time in Rize is around 19:30-20:00 on average.
